Gender equality is the goal that will help abolish poverty that will create more equal economies, fairer societies and happier men, women and children. Gender discrimination remains a pervasive issue in the workplace. While obvious cases of discrimination against women — like sexist comments or the systematic underpayment of women — dominate headlines, there are subtler, more insidious forms of discrimination that often go unnoticed.
WACCA sees these plagues and are already lending a voice for the discriminated women and children. Below are the profiles of WACCA iconic stars, a clear reminder that not all super hero wears cape.

WACCA is an Incorporated Trustee Organization
WACCA is a fully recognized corporate body, registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, with the registration number 195432.
The overall scope of humanitarian duties as engaged by WACCA encompasses the total emancipation of the girl child, women and children who are downtrodden in the society. We render a shoulder to lean on and provide support financial and otherwise, promoting equality and fairness in our society.
To do this, we make partnership, build trust, and foster general support groups in learning institutions, motherless babies home, orphanages and the likes.
THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

TO PROMOTE THE IMPOVERISHED WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO CANNOT HAVE FORMAL EDUCATION AND THOSE THAT DROPPED OUT FROM SCHOOL DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS.

TO PROMOTE AND BREAK THE VICIOUS CYCLE OF POVERTY AND SOCIAL ISOLATION AND TO RESTORE HOPE FOR A BETTER FUTURE.

TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PEOPLE FOR ADOPTION OF THE GOOD NORMS OF A GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND TO INCULCATE INTO THE PEOPLE’S MIND IDEALS OF NATIONAL UNITY.

TO PROMOTE AND INCREASE HOUSEHOLD INCOMES OF POOR FAMILIES, TO IMPROVE THEIR TECHNOLOGIES FOR BETTER PRODUCTIVITY.

TO FORM A FORMIDABLE FORUM TOWARDS FOSTERING PEACE, UNITY, TOLERANCE AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE COMMUNITY AND THE SOCIETY AT LARGE.
